Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team and oversee the safety protocols and compliance standards for our company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and managing EHS programs in manufacturing, oil & gas, and/or heavy industrial construction.

Responsibilities:
1. EHS Program Development:
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs tailored to the unique challenges we face as a contractor in renewable, oil/gas, and heavy industrial construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.

2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
• Conduct thorough risk assessments for each project and implement strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into the planning and execution phases.
• This might include collecting samples for potential health hazards.

3. Training and Education:
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of personnel, emphasizing best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and track employee training and certifications to ensure compliance.
• Integrate behavior-based safety principles into training modules, fostering a proactive safety culture.

4. Incident Investigation and Reporting:
• Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely incident reports to regulatory agencies as required.

5. Emergency Preparedness:
• Establish emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure the readiness of project teams in the event of emergencies.

6. Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay abreast of changes in EHS regulations and standards, ensuring that the company remains in compliance.
• Interface with regulatory agencies as necessary and represent the company during inspections.

7. Safety Culture Promotion:
• Foster a strong safety culture by promoting awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Implement incentive programs to recognize and reward safe work practices.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing EHS programs for heavy industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other applicable standards.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
• Proficient in incident investigation techniques and root cause analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365
• Previous experience, especially in oil/gas or energy sector a plus

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

· Apply, remove, and repair multiple types of industrial insulation on piping, equipment and storage tanks (cold work/hot work)

· Ability to cut out patterns, layouts

· Knowledge of materials, methods and the different types of tools involved in installing insulation

· Read blueprints and select required insulation material

· Work at heights

· Use tape measure or other measuring device, measure and cut insulation material to specified size and shape for covering flat or round surfaces, using handsaw, knife, or scissors

· Fit, wrap or attach required insulation material around or to structure, following blueprint specifications

· Use of Respiratory equipment. Local and portable exhaust ventilation systems (LEV), as well as Power Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR), along with half mask and full-face respirators.

· Comply with company and customer policies and procedures

· Ability to use time efficiently within time constraints

· Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with field supervisors and other crew members

· Support zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations

PIPE WELDER

Brief Description
The Pipe Welder is responsible for performing a full range of journeyman-level structural & pipe welding procedures. Including pre-heat temperatures, electrode selection, welding processes, and quality control specifications in accordance with the specific metallurgical properties of the material involved. This position performs basic rigging procedures as well as advanced fabrication, lay-out, & field verification techniques.

Detailed Description

MECHANICAL DRAFTSMAN

Brief Description
The Mechanical Draftsman will work closely with our Mechanical Engineers to design drawings using AutoCAD and AutoDesk Inventor.  The draftsman will also assist in project estimation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of drafting experience
  • Responsible for developing detailed drawings and Bills of Materials
  • Pipe design experience, a strong plus
